Ok, so here's the deal. I remember, I was in DoA one day. There was a monk there, in black clothes, and with panda bear near him. He had a catchy name, which I won't reveal, since I am not allowed to. Anyway...
He was spamming: WTS Armbraces, 60 ecto each, 200 left!
I thought he was either joking, or e-bayed them. So, I didn't payed much attention. But tommorow I found a thread on Guru, saying that items are beeing duped. And of course, my first thought was "So, that's how that guy got them!" Anyway, A-net started baning, and I forgot about that guy, since I was sure he got owned. But today...I came across him again! Yes, the same guy. Or maybe he got new account and made a char with same name - but it has to be him. He is even in the same guild. So here are some things I noticed:

1) I remember that that guy's guild once won in HoH, since I was watching random matches on Observe. They ALL had Tormented shields.

2) On my screenshots (provided bellow) there are 2 guys. My theory is, that they were partners, since it takes 2 people for duping trick. Both of them have same title, R2 Sweet Tooth. Duped candies for title? Highly possible. Duped panda bears? I would say so.

3) And one more thing. They both acted like kids. When I said to him that I have doubts of how he got his panda, I was told to, I quote, "STFU NOOB". Very mature. My tries to have any conversation with him ended with him insulting me and everyone else who agreed with me.

Here are the screens. Personally, I think that guy either didn't got banned or he did, but menaged to stash his wealth somewhere safe, and after he got banned he simply got new account and recovered his stuff.

his panda is legit. i know both of these people PERSONALLY in-game and I know they are clean. their titles are legit too.
you come in here and automatically accuse people of duping, without knowing the whole story..bad idea

There was evidence of duping surfacing for a full month before Anet got wind and took action. They insist that it was happening for a 'very short time' and that 'they know all' and they supposedly banned all the culprits. Common sense would tend to suggest otherwise.

ok 1st off i did get banned and anet too my item away from my account that were, they were not from me duping they were from me mearly selling my prize items which were my pets to people who i thought just ebayed and wanted them for the HoM. then i heard they duped then there after i and my mate never sold he was banned too.

i was banned on my mule too anet took all the ectos that i got from selling them armbraces i have the enail to prove it from anet which i cant show you for obvious reasons. and btw thanks undead people acting like they know what happen with this big stupid scandal dnt know diddly squat. e cto s pasm over and out.

1 last thing ive served my time duping things is over i know 1 guy that still shud be banned his name is lilou xiang he is the one that i sold my pets too for huge ammount so maybe you wanna check him.

I think they are dupers, because I have a reason to do so. I am only saying my opinion here. I didn't even reported them, because I don't have enough evidance, and even then I don't think I would do so. Those 2 just looked suspicious, and I said why.

And just to make something clean here (again): I saw that guy, or to be precise, guy with same name, clothes, and minipet, spamming that he is selling 200 armbraces. I didn't took the screen that day, but it was him, believe me or not.

molock you dont know the trading world, even if you do you might not have been as good as me i have meny rich friends i aint the only one rich. anet removed from my account what was made from selling my armbraces and i learnt my lesson. so i dnt know what all this bitching is about i made my money fair and square i didnt make ne money from the duping phase when i sold my pets for armbraces because anet removed em all from me, and my mate had the same thing happen to him. dupers got hardware ban we didnt so please if ya think then fine think it but personally i dnt care ne more i know whats what and so does all the people that will stick by me.

The reactions to this guy dont have any stock in them but really really bad english, dont tell him he knows nothing cause thats why hes asking to explain.
I find it amazing how people that speak so crappy on forums to be able to amass that amount of ecto, personally I think your lying or either cheating.
Please try to explain why that person saw someone selling that insane amount of armbraces cause a lot of people wont even get to see one in their entire time in gw.

Its a bit strange that you can feel personally offended while someone is talking about two suspicious players he didnt even name. You shouldnt react like that unless you have a reason to. :P

Except for the bad english comment, i find that offensive... Please do note that GW and this site is populated by people from all over the world, and not everyone outside the US or UK speaks fluent english, nor can write that accurately.

ok armbraces were deleted by anet people that duped were banned also banned people that sold them to make a profit. people that made a profit out of it got unbanned but anet took items away from them thus they took any ectos made from selling armbraces.

i was rich b4 duping from trading and selling a Rare mini pet i got DIRT cheap, so next time someone accuses makes sure u have ur proof together because you dont have any i served my time for what i done anet took my ectos away and that also happened to my trading partner, but we was rich b4 so w/e.
